We all need at least one sacred space in our home. It is where we can go to just get away from it all. We need our own time out, not as a punishment but for our own mental and physical health. When we are able to nurture ourselves with some quiet time and self care, we will be energized to do the other things we want to do. A sacred space can be anywhere in your home; it can be a whole room or even just a small corner in a bedroom, living room or a space in your backyard. It just needs to be something that represents YOU and the things YOU LOVE! Each space will be different for everyone and none are wrong it is just what makes you feel really good. Some items that are great in a sacred space are: candles flowers photos statues incense bells soft music or nature sounds Your sacred space is a beautiful place to go to to meditate, journal or read a book. A place to really reconnect with yourself on a soul level. I have a few sacred spaces in my home, one is in my living room where I keep my candles, oil burner with essential oils, and some oracle cards. My spare bedroom is where I will go if everyone is home and I just really need some quiet time. In the summer I will go out in my backyard and sit in my gazebo and enjoy nature sounds, smell the flowers and listen to my fountain. I love to meditate , listen to inspiring calls and read books in my spaces. I think you will really love to create a space for your self. When you do you will realize that you matter, that you are important and need to be nurture just as much as you nurture everyone else. My living room sacred space.
I would love to see your sacred spaces, please feel free to share here. Samantha Vidal
